Hi!
To all fans of Emmylou Harris: there is new record out now.
It's called TRIO II [Warner Music]. There are 10 songs sung by Emmylou
Harris, Linda Ronstadt and Dolly Parton... 10 beautiful songs although this
album has nothing in common with Daniel Lanois.
Regards !
Lukasz

Thought this might be of interest to Lanois fans. Vigilantes of Love
outstanding new album *Audible Sigh* features Brady Blade on drums,
guest vocals by Emmylou Harris and was produced by Harris' *Spyboy*
producer and guitarist Buddy Miller. Due to label troubles (oh, there's
a big suprise...) the release date has been pushed back to this summer.
VoL's principle songwriter Bill Mallonee has quietly been writing his
way to Dylanhood underneath the radio radar for most of the nineties,
and any of his band's album's will appeal to fans of Young/Dylan quality
songwriting. Just a little rah rah for your consideration. Find out more

[This might be a repeat message.]
Anyone interested in obtaining a cd which includes all of Dan's music from
the SLINGBLADE soundtrack along with the complete ACADIE album (plus two
bonus tracks from WYNONA, "Indian Red" and "Waiting")?
I recently got hold of a few copies of this "promotional" cd, and I have
some to go around if anyone is interested.
I'm not sure if it's an official promotional cd (even the genuine
"promotional" cds look a little suspicious to me), but if anybody would
like one, just email me (not ACADIE) and I'll give you the details.

I remember this performance as it was the first time I saw Daniel with
Daryl and Brian. I was blown away by Brian's chops and his voice. I
want to say, the Tonight Show appearance was in support of Wynona, but I
don't know when the show was. Was this just a dream?
Any info would be great!

Subject: Bay Area Musicians?
Hey Everybody-
Are there any musicians (especially drummers!!!) in the SF Bay Area (East
Bay) who want to get together and play? (I was going to use the word "JAM"
but then I'd be obligated to use the word "GIG" and the next thing you know
we're talking about bar tabs and who's printing up flyers, and what word
rhymes with orange, and if we can put a picture of giant ash tray on the kick
drum and, . . . )
Just want to get together and play some Lanois influenced music.
If you're here and interested, shoot me off an e-mail.

Thanks and Let's All "Sell Out" Soon
