Dear friends,
I started this ACADIE project on November 4, 1995 and now 14 years later it is time to let it go. At the beginning, Dan had no internet related presence and I attempted to fill the gap. During the intervening years, it has been an honor to know and work with many different people on this site including the opportunity to meet and talk with Dan at length about his music and his life. We are fortunate that alternatives now exist, including the official Daniel Lanois web site. Please continue to support Dan and his work.
Because a wealth of information has been generated on this site over the years, the content will continue to be available to the community. However, no additional content or corrections will be made to this site. I strongly encourage fans to add information to the Wikipedia entry for Daniel Lanois as a method for staying current.
