A podcast that will be released on Sept 21 on both the iTunes Music Store (search on Wall to Wall Guitar) and Wall to Wall. It's a 40-minute interview/performance with Daniel Lanois recorded a few weeks ago in New York City by David Spelman.

Dan talks about Belladonna, his time in Mexico, recording in non-traditional environments, his musical heroes, the music biz, vintage guitars, and his film project Giorgio. He plays acoustic versions Oh Marie, Power or One and the wonderful, unreleased Thank You (co-written w/ Bono). He also plays Space Key, an improvisation on solo acoustic guitar, and several pieces on pedal steel guitar, including an unreleased piece called Chimes.

I listened to this today and it is very tasty musically and the interview reveals the insightful and gentle Dan.
