I was listening this weekend to the Daniel Lanois Antwerp 1993 concert (torrented in dimeadozen some time ago- a wonderful concert), and I realised that the short intro Daniel plays at the beginning is actually "The deadly nightshade" from Belladonna!

So I guess it must be true that he has had many of these pieces for many many years.

I'd love to hear that show. There havn't been many torrents lately! 'Two Worlds' of Belladonna is also on the 'Trip' compilation from around '93, as well as the early version of 'nightshade' which is called 'Mighty Cloud'.  In case you didn't know Trip also has instrumental versions of Fire and 'Beatrice' and 'The Bells of New Orleans' (from the end of 'The
Collection of Marie-Claire"). God knows how old some of the material off Acadie must be!
