Thats cool, and good luck with the transfer to a new host and new forum software!

Depending on which forum software you're switching to, it might be possible to convert from miniBB to the new system without loosing all the current members, topics,posts, etc.

I don't know about other softwares, but I know that at least Simple Machines Forum has such a converter for miniBB:

We're in luck! I happen to be switching to Simple Machines Forum (SMF). I guess I'll just have to muddle through the process and see what happens.
