Hi everyone:
If you own a copy of the Cool Water bootleg, does it skip/garble on track 11 at around 1:25? The song is second version of The Maker on the CD.

Let me know.

Mine has a minor problem----sounds like the original tape might have physically been scrunched  at that point???
Or it could just be a digital glitch that sounds like a problem with the tape.

Remind me of the history of this boot???
I see versions on Amazon for $99 that I assume are "official" boots, but I'm sure my copy is a product of a long line of digital reproduction
where garbles/skips/scrunches appear mysteriously and get passed along.

Helmond - just to confirm, the second version of The Maker on your Cool Water CD does not skip? Do you have a method to send me an MP3 of your copy? Feel free to email me offline (acadie@neuhouse.com) if that works better for you.

Tonto - this is an old bootleg that probably came out of Germany. It has only recently been released officially through the redfloorrecords.com web site for $10 - if your paying more, then your getting ripped off.

The version I have also skips at the same point; I purchased the wav version of the album and am wondering if 'helmond' purchased the mp3 version instead.  Perhaps that's the reason for the difference, but I'd prefer to know before I repurchase the entire album.

Hi, Kenley, mine (official WAV download) also skips, but I think it's the source tape that's the problem'.

I believe your right about the source tape having the skip; I was just hoping that someone out there may have a clean version. Oh well.
