Wondering everyone's thoughts on Daniel Lanois’ music (from the Sling Blade soundtrack) being used in the new Hyundai television commercials (USA)?  Sell out vs. genre-busting, audience-building opportunity? 

I choose the later.

I haven't seen the commercial, but if it is respectful and Dan signed off on the project, then it seems ok to me.
