Your best bet for finding an original copy is on ebay. Watch out, because I've seen sellers trying to auction off a DVD version- The video was NEVER released on DVD, only on VHS.

The VHS auction price varies... sometimes it goes for $30 or more, and sometimes it goes for around $10-15, depending on who sees it. If you see it for under $20, it is a bargain!

It is a very good video, well done, with a ton of personal touches and of course great music. I sure do miss those "music movies", they don't seem to make many of them anymore.

Good luck with your search!

Yeah, that's right. I forgot about the laser disc version. Probably a good deal, because you should get a better quality soundtrack on the LD vs. VHS. I suppose most of the DVD copies floating around are bootlegs straight from LD.

Personally,  I was disappointed with how little music was on the videotape.  I bought the VHS hoping to see/hear extended versions of live songs and U2/Dylan/Gabriel videos,  but "Rocky World" seems more of a Lanois profile than a music video.  Not that there's anything WRONG with that,  but I was hoping for something different. I would STILL recommend getting the video,  but it's not something one would play over and over just for the tunes.

It would be great to have a DVD of "Rocky World" with bonus features (i.e. more music) as well as the regular footage.
