I prefer the sound of vinyl records (though I primarily play CDs for convenience and length).
I first heard Lanois on a 12" single of "Cool Water" and have several copies of "Acadie" on vinyl.
I've heard that "Beauty" was pressed as an LP, but I've never seen it for sale (even at ridiculous prices on eBay).
Anyone have this??

On a related note, I'd love to get Emmylou Harris' "Wrecking Ball" on record too.
I've actually seen this available, but in the $50 range.

I have both. Sadly my wonderful C J Walker table Mission tonearm and Grqce ruby cartridge were lost in a roof leak (flood really) and I am turntableless...

Both are warm and buttery if you'll excuse the poetry...

Someday a new turntable
